Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does the ayah ask?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If someone won't believe Allah's words, whose words will they believe?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jathiyah is surah 45. Find ayah 6. The key word ayat means signs and verses. After listing signs in the sky, animals, rain and wind, the ayah asks: if people won't believe these and Allah's own words, what will convince them? Nothing is clearer than the Quran.

Fact: How many times is the word ayah (sign) used in the Quran?

Ages 5–8: Sign spotting. Name one sign of Allah you saw today.

Ages 9–12: Message ranking. Write five messages you hear daily (adverts, friends, news, Quran) and rank how trustworthy they are.

Finish with: "I found that the word ayah appears about ___ times."

Talk together:

• Why is the Quran the clearest message?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What messages compete for our attention?
• How can we give the Quran first place?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will read or listen to the Quran before checking any screen in the morning."
