وَقَالُوا۟ مَا هِىَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا يُهْلِكُنَآ إِلَّا ٱلدَّهْرُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ
How to read it
Wa qālū mā hiya 'illā ḥayātunā ddun'yā namūtu wanaḥ'yā wamā yuh'likunā 'illā ddah'ru . wamā lahum bidhālika min' ʻil'min . 'in' hum' 'illā yaẓunnūna
And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture:
