4-I guide
The Book is sent down step by step from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How has the Quran stayed exactly the same for over 1,400 years?"
Watch the NoorInk video The Quran Story: How The Quran Began.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "From whom is the Book sent down?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did people keep the Quran safe before printing?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jathiyah is surah 45. Find ayah 2. The key word tanzil means sending down step by step. Because the Book comes from the Mighty, the Wise, Allah also protects it. The companions memorised it and wrote it on leaves, bones and skins. Later it was gathered into one mushaf. Today millions of people, including children, know the whole Quran by heart.
Fact: What is a person who memorises the whole Quran called?
Ages 5–8: Memory chain. Learn one new line of a short surah and recite it to a family member.
Ages 9–12: Then and now. Make a timeline showing how the Quran was written down and collected.
Finish with: "I found that someone who memorises the Quran is called a ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will memorise one new ayah."
Action: Memorise one new ayah.
