4-I guide
Dressed in fine silk and rich brocade, facing one another.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where does silk come from?"
Watch the learning junction video Life Cycle of Silk Moth: How Silk is Made.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How do the people of Jannah sit?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the ayah say they face one another?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 53. The key words sundus wa istabraq mean fine silk and thick brocade. Silk comes from the tiny cocoon of a silkworm, a sign to ponder. In Jannah, people wear the finest clothes and sit facing one another, a picture of friendship with no jealousy or quarrels.
Fact: How many cocoons does it take to make one silk scarf?
Ages 5–8: Silkworm story. Draw the life cycle of a silkworm.
Ages 9–12: Facing friends. Write what makes friendship in Jannah different from friendships now.
Finish with: "I found that one scarf needs about ___ cocoons."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will sit and talk face to face with a friend or family member without screens."
Action: Talk face to face without screens.
