Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why is it important that someone makes things fair in the end?"

Watch the Tiny Sparks Stories video Al-'Adl, The Just and Fair.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will Allah do on that day?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How will Allah make everything fair?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 16. The key words al-batshah al-kubra mean the greatest seizure. Many scholars say this refers to a day of reckoning for the leaders who hurt the believers in Makkah. Others link it to the Last Day. Either way, Allah is al-'Adl, the Just; no wrong goes unanswered.

Fact: Which name of Allah means the Just?

Ages 5–8: Fair scales. Share ten raisins equally between two cups and check that they balance.

Ages 9–12: Justice journal. Write about something unfair you saw and how Allah's justice gives hope.

Finish with: "I found that the Just is ___."

Talk together:

• Why does Allah's justice matter?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How can we be fair in our games and families?
• What gives you hope when things seem unfair?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will speak up when a game is unfair to someone."

• Speak up when a game is unfair.
• Try fair scales.
• Share your justice journal.
• Next time: the next ayah (44:17) begins the story of Musa and Pharaoh. Explore it together!

Action: Speak up when a game is unfair to someone.
