Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does it feel when someone calls you a name?"
Watch the Reading With KiKi read-aloud Words Are Not for Hurting.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What names did they call the Prophet?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did the Prophet stay kind when people were unkind?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 14. The key words mu'allamun majnun mean "taught by someone" and "crazy". When people couldn't argue with the message, they attacked the Messenger with names. The Prophet stayed patient and kept going. Name-calling shows a weak argument, not a strong one.
Fact: How long did the Prophet call people to Islam in Makkah?
Ages 5–8: Kind words swap. Turn three unkind words into kind ones.
Ages 9–12: Calm reply. Write a calm, kind reply to someone who calls you a name.
Finish with: "I found that the Prophet called people in Makkah for ___ years."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will use only words that build people up."
Action: Use only words that build people up.
