أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
'Annā lahumu dhdhik'rā waqad' jā'ahum' rassūlun mmubīnun
How shall the message be (effectual) for them, seeing that an Messenger explaining things clearly has (already) come to them,-

How can they take heed now, when a messenger making things clear has already come to them?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What was the Prophet Muhammad like as a person?"
Watch the One Islam Productions video The Beautiful Character of Muhammad.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who had already come to the people?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What made the Prophet's message so clear?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Dukhan is surah 44. Find ayah 13. The key word adh-dhikra means the reminder. The people of Makkah already had the clearest reminder: the Prophet, known for honesty and kindness, who explained everything plainly. Waiting for disaster before listening makes no sense when the truth is already in front of you.
Fact: What did people in Makkah call the Prophet before Islam because of his honesty?
Ages 5–8: Character crown. Make a crown with five of the Prophet's good qualities.
Ages 9–12: Character study. Choose one quality of the Prophet and write how you can copy it.
Finish with: "I found that people called him ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will copy one quality of the Prophet every day."
Action: Copy one quality of the Prophet every day.
