4-I guide
We did not wrong them; they were the ones who wronged themselves.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who gets hurt most when someone tells a lie?"
Watch the Mufti Menk children's series episode What Happens When You Tell a Lie.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who wronged them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does doing wrong hurt the person who does it?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 76. The key words kanu hum az-zalimin mean they themselves were the wrongdoers. Allah is completely just and never treats anyone unfairly. When people choose wrong again and again, they are hurting themselves most of all. Good choices protect our own hearts.
Fact: Which name of Allah means the Just?
Ages 5–8: Boomerang choices. Talk about how a lie can come back and hurt the liar.
Ages 9–12: Self-harm check. Write three wrong choices that hurt the chooser most.
Finish with: "I found that the Just is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will choose honesty even when a small lie seems easier."
Action: Choose honesty even when a small lie seems easier.
