يَٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
Yāʻibādi lā khaw'fun ʻalay'kumu l-yaw'ma walā 'antum' taḥ'zanūna
My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,-

My servants, no fear will be on you that Day, and you will not grieve,
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What helps you feel brave when you're scared?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah promise His servants?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah call them 'My servants'?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 68. The key words ya 'ibadi mean O My servants. On the Day when many are afraid, Allah calls the believers lovingly "My servants" and promises no fear about what is coming and no sadness about what has passed. That is a beautiful promise to look forward to.
Fact: What is the difference between fear and sadness?
Ages 5–8: Brave box. Draw a box full of things that help you feel brave, including du'a.
Ages 9–12: Fear and grief. Write what this ayah removes: fear of the future and sadness about the past.
Finish with: "I found that fear is about ___ and sadness is about ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a whenever I feel scared."
Action: Make du'a whenever you feel scared.
