Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What unfair claim does Allah question?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why was this claim both false and unfair?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 16. The key word banat means daughters. Some idol-worshippers claimed angels were Allah's daughters, while they themselves boasted about having sons. The Quran shows how false and unfair this was: Allah has no children at all, and He gives daughters and sons as equal blessings.

Fact: What does the Quran say about who gives children, in Surah Ash-Shura?

Ages 5–8: Family blessings. Draw everyone in your family and write one blessing about each person.

Ages 9–12: Fair or unfair. Write why the idol-worshippers' claim was unfair as well as false.
