وَجَعَلُوا۟ لَهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ جُزْءًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَكَفُورٌۭ مُّبِينٌ
Wa jaʻalū lahu min' ʻibādihī juz''an . 'inna l-'insāna lakafūrun mmubīnun
Yet they attribute to some of His servants a share with Him (in his godhead)! truly is man a blasphemous ingrate avowed!

Yet they claimed that some of Allah's own creatures were His children; truly, people can be clearly ungrateful.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which short surah tells us who Allah is?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the people wrongly claim?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can't anyone be part of Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zukhruf is surah 43. Find ayah 15. The key word juz'an means a part, a share. Some people claimed that certain of Allah's servants, like angels, were part of Him or His children. Surah Al-Ikhlas answers: Allah is One, He does not give birth and was not born, and nothing is like Him. Everything else is His creation and His servant.
Fact: How many ayat are in Surah Al-Ikhlas?
Ages 5–8: One and only. Draw one big sun with "Allah is One" written inside.
Ages 9–12: Ikhlas explained. Write each ayah of Surah Al-Ikhlas in your own words.
Finish with: "I found that Al-Ikhlas has ___ ayat."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will recite Surah Al-Ikhlas and think about its meaning each night."
Action: Recite Al-Ikhlas each night.
