Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does it mean that everything returns to Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shura is surah 42. Ayah 53 closes the surah. The key word tasir means they journey or return. The straight path is Allah's path, and everything in the universe belongs to Him. Like rivers flowing to the sea, every matter ends with Allah. Surah Ash-Shura began with revelation and ends by reminding us where every path leads.

Fact: How many ayat does Surah Ash-Shura have?

Ages 5–8: River race. Pour water at different spots on a tilted tray and watch every stream reach the bottom.

Ages 9–12: Surah journey. Draw a winding road through Surah Ash-Shura with stops for revelation, one religion, rain and ships, the qualities of believers, forgiveness, families and the light.
