وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَابَهُمُ ٱلْبَغْىُ هُمْ يَنتَصِرُونَ
Wa -lladhīna 'idhā 'aṣābahumu l-bagh'yu hum' yantaṣirūna
And those who, when an oppressive wrong is inflicted on them, (are not cowed but) help and defend themselves.

And when great wrong is done to them, they stand up for themselves.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What should you do if someone keeps hurting you?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do believers do when they are wronged?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stand up for myself safely?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shura is surah 42. Find ayah 39. The key word yantasirun means they defend themselves. Believers are kind, but they are not weak. When someone treats them badly, they do not just accept it. For children, standing up for yourself means saying stop firmly, walking away, and telling a trusted adult. It never means hurting back.
Fact: Who are three trusted adults you could tell if someone hurts you?
Ages 5–8: Stop hand. Practise holding up your hand and saying stop, I don't like that, in a strong voice.
Ages 9–12: Safety plan. Write what you would do and whom you would tell if someone bullied you or a friend.
Finish with: "I found that my three trusted adults are ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will practise my stop words and name my trusted adults."
Action: Practise your stop words and name your trusted adults.
