Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How do believers feel about the Hour?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do some people mock the Hour?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shura is surah 42. Find ayah 18. The key word mushfiqun means mindful and concerned. People who did not believe used to say: bring it on, then! Believers are different: they know the Day is true, so they take it seriously and get ready by doing good. Being mindful is like a student who studies because the exam is real.

Fact: Name one surah whose name is a name for the Day of Judgement.

Ages 5–8: Ready bag. Pack a pretend bag for a trip, then talk about what good deeds we pack for the Akhirah.

Ages 9–12: Daily check. Design a short evening checklist of good deeds to get ready each day.

Finish with: "I found that ___ is a surah named after the Day."

Talk together:

• Why do believers take the Hour seriously?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What good deeds can we pack for the Akhirah?
• How can we be mindful without being scared?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will check my good deeds each evening."

• Share your daily checklist.
