Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What kind of reward is promised?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does a reward that never ends look like?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Fussilat is surah 41. Find ayah 8. The key words ghayru mamnun mean never cut off. Prizes in this world get old, break or are forgotten. Allah's reward for faith and good deeds never stops and never runs out. Even small good deeds count when done for Allah.

Fact: Which short surah also promises believers a reward that is never cut off?

Ages 5–8: Never-ending line. Draw a line around a whole sheet of paper without lifting your pencil.

Ages 9–12: Good deed log. Keep a log of good deeds for three days and note how each one felt.

Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."
