وَذَٰلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَىٰكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ
Wa dhālikum' ẓannukumu -lladhī ẓanantum birabbikum' 'ar'dākum' fa'aṣ'baḥ'tum mmina l-khāssirīna
"But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your Lord, hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost!"

That false idea you held about your Lord brought you to ruin, and you became among the losers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do our thoughts about Allah matter?"
Watch the Green Fig video Who knows that? God knows that.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What ruined these people?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What should I believe about Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Fussilat is surah 41. Find ayah 23. The key word zannukum means your assumption. These people thought Allah did not know what they did, and this wrong idea led them to do wrong freely. Believers think well of Allah: He knows all, He is fair, He is merciful and He rewards good. Right thoughts about Allah lead to right actions.
Fact: Which name of Allah means the Most Generous?
Ages 5–8: True about Allah. Say three true things about Allah, like He sees me and He loves good.
Ages 9–12: Thought to action. Write how one true belief about Allah changes one of your actions.
Finish with: "I found that the Most Generous is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one new name of Allah and its meaning."
Action: Learn one new name of Allah and its meaning.
