Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What are the seven heavens like?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Fussilat is surah 41. Find ayah 12. The key word masabih means lamps. Allah made seven heavens and gave each one its own job. He decorated the nearest sky with stars like lamps. Stars help travellers find their way and fill the night with beauty. Everything follows the plan of Al-Aziz, Al-Alim.

Fact: Roughly how many stars can you see with your eyes alone on a clear, dark night?

Ages 5–8: Star jar. Poke holes in a dark paper cup and shine a torch through it onto the ceiling.

Ages 9–12: Star map. Go out on a clear night and sketch one group of stars you can find.
