Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is called the great success?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What kinds of harm can Allah protect me from?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 9. The key word as-sayyi'at means bad things or evils. The angels end their du'a by asking Allah to protect believers from every harm. Being kept safe by Allah on the Last Day is the greatest win of all. We can ask for the same protection in our own du'as every morning and evening.

Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Baqarah is a du'a for good in this world and the next and protection from the Fire?

Ages 5–8: Safe and sound. Make a poster of things that keep us safe, with Allah at the top.

Ages 9–12: My protection du'a. Learn the meaning of a short du'a for protection and say it each morning.

Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Baqarah ___."
