Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When did these people say they believed?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't they believe earlier?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 84. The key word ra'aw means they saw. Many peoples refused to believe for years, and only said we believe when they saw the punishment arriving. Pharaoh did the same when he was drowning. Believing because we choose to, while we still have time, is what counts.

Fact: Which surah tells that Pharaoh said he believed only as he was drowning?

Ages 5–8: Before or after. Talk about tidying your room before being told versus after being told, and which is better.

Ages 9–12: Choose now. Write one good change you want to make now, not later.
