فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَرِحُوا۟ بِمَا عِندَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
How to read it
Falammā jā'at'hum' russuluhum bil-bayyināti fariḥū bimā ʻindahum mmina l-ʻil'mi waḥāqa bihim mmā kānū bihī yas'tah'zi'ūna
For when their messengers came to them with Clear Signs, they exulted in such knowledge (and skill) as they had; but that very (Wrath) at which they were wont to scoff hemmed them in.
