Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay humble?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 76. The key word al-mutakabbirin means the arrogant. Pride appears again and again in this surah: Pharaoh, Haman, Qarun and those who argued without proof. The end of the proud is terrible. Humility, on the other hand, brings people closer to Allah and to each other.

Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Qasas says the home of the next life is for those who do not seek to be high on earth?

Ages 5–8: Humble helper. Do a job no one likes, like clearing the table, without being asked.

Ages 9–12: Pride in Ghafir. List all the proud people in Surah Ghafir and what happened to them.

Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Qasas ___."
