Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How is the sky like a roof?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 64. The key word bina' means a canopy or structure. The earth is a stable place to live, and the sky is like a protective roof above us. The air around the earth holds the oxygen we breathe and blocks harmful rays from the sun, signs to ponder. Allah also shaped each of us beautifully and gave us good food.

Fact: Which layer of the atmosphere protects us from harmful sun rays?

Ages 5–8: Roof and floor. Make a model with a shoebox: the floor is the earth and the lid is the sky.

Ages 9–12: Beautifully made. Write five ways your body is beautifully designed.
