Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What helps you understand something deeply?"
Watch the IQRA CARTOON video The First Quran Book: Rise of Islam Episode 5.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who benefits from the reminder?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I become a person of understanding?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 54. The key words ulu al-albab mean people of understanding. Allah's Books are guidance and reminders, but they help most those who think deeply. People of understanding do not just hear words; they reflect, ask questions and act on what they learn.
Fact: Which surah ends with ayat about people of understanding reflecting on the creation of the heavens and earth?
Ages 5–8: Think time. Look at a leaf for one quiet minute and share three things you noticed.
Ages 9–12: Reflection page. Choose an ayah, write what it means and how it applies to you.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will spend a few quiet minutes thinking about one ayah."
