Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did these people refuse?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is worshipping Allah alone so important?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ghafir is surah 40. Find ayah 12. The key word wahdahu means Him alone. Some people became upset when only Allah was worshipped, but were happy when idols were added. This is the opposite of tawhid. Believers worship Allah alone, the Most High and Most Great, who has the final say in everything.

Fact: What does the name Al-Kabir mean?

Ages 5–8: One and only. Hold up one finger and say: Allah is One, with nothing like Him.

Ages 9–12: Tawhid in a day. Write three moments when you can remember that only Allah decides.
