وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ رَأَيْتَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُودًۭا
Wa 'idhā qīla lahum' taʻālaw' 'ilā mā 'anzala -llahu wa'ilā rrassūli ra'ay'ta l-munāfiqīna yaṣuddūna ʻanka ṣudūdan
When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah hath revealed, and to the Messenger": Thou seest the Hypocrites avert their faces from thee in disgust.

When told to come to what Allah revealed and to the Messenger, the hypocrites were seen turning away firmly.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you respond when called to something good?"
Put on a recitation of ayah 61 from Ummah Muslim and sit still; our topic is 'Turning Away'.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the hypocrites do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why turn away from good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nisa' is surah 4. Find ayah 61. Hypocrites claimed faith but avoided the Prophet's judgment. Believers come forward happily.
Fact: An-Nur 24:51 says believers say 'we hear and obey'.
Ages 5–8: Come running. Come quickly when called to help.
Ages 9–12: Responding. Write how believers respond to Allah's call.
Finish with: "Believers say: we hear and ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will come quickly when called to pray."
Action: Come quickly when called to pray.
