Ask: "Why does the Qur'an defend Maryam?"
Today's clip is Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 155–162 on MZG. Close your eyes and think about 'Defending Maryam'.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who was slandered?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is slander so serious?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nisa' is surah 4. Find ayah 156. Maryam was falsely accused. The Qur'an clears her name and honours her as one of the greatest women. Islam defends the innocent.
Fact: In Ali 'Imran 3:42, angels say Allah chose and purified Maryam.
Ages 5–8: Maryam's story. Retell how Allah cared for Maryam.
Ages 9–12: Defending the innocent. Write why we defend people from false accusations.
Finish with: "Allah chose and ___ Maryam."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stand up for someone wrongly accused."
Action: Stand up for someone wrongly accused.
