Ask: "Can wishing replace doing?"

Play Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 122–127 from MZG. Afterwards, say in one sentence what 'Not by Wishes' means to you.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What doesn't decide the result?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do actions matter more than wishes?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nisa' is surah 4. Find ayah 123. Muslims and others both sometimes thought belonging to a group was enough. Allah says deeds count, not wishes.

Fact: An-Najm 53:39 says a person gets only what he strives for.

Ages 5–8: Plant to grow. Plant a seed: wishing alone won't make it grow.

Ages 9–12: Wishes and work. Write why effort matters.

Finish with: "A person gets what he ___ for."

Talk together:

• What doesn't count?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What does?
• What will you work on?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will turn a wish into an action."

• Deeds count.
• Not wishes.
• Work for good.
