Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the people of Jannah say?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is alhamdulillah said even in Jannah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zumar is surah 39. Find ayah 74. The key word al-hamdu means praise and thanks. The first words of the people of Jannah will be: all praise to Allah, who kept His promise. Their hard work in this life is rewarded beyond imagination. Saying alhamdulillah now is practice for the words of Jannah.

Fact: Name two surahs of the Quran that begin with al-hamdu lillah.

Ages 5–8: Alhamdulillah count. Count how many times your family says alhamdulillah in one day.

Ages 9–12: Promise kept. List three promises Allah makes in the Quran that believers will see come true.

Finish with: "I found that ___ and ___ begin with al-hamdu lillah."

• When do you say alhamdulillah?
• What promise of Allah are you looking forward to?
