Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Who do you turn to when you feel scared?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does Allah ask?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How is Allah enough for me?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zumar is surah 39. Find ayah 36. The key word kafin means sufficient, enough. The idol-worshippers tried to scare the Prophet, saying their idols would harm him. Allah asked: is Allah not enough for His servant? When Allah is with us, we have everything we need. Fear of anything else shrinks.

Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al Imran tells of believers saying? Allah is enough for us?

Ages 5–8: Enough jar. Fill a jar with notes of things Allah gives you, then say: Allah is enough for me.

Ages 9–12: Fear shrinker. Write a fear you have and how remembering Allah makes it smaller.

Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al Imran ___."

Talk together:

• What does it mean that Allah is enough?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What fears can we hand to Allah?
• How do people try to scare others?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, when I feel scared, I will remind myself that Allah is enough."

• Share the fear shrinker.
• Next time: the next ayah (39:37) says no one can mislead whom Allah guides. Explore it together!
