Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who has the power to guide hearts?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What can I do to help someone find guidance?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zumar is surah 39. Find ayah 19. The key word tunqidhu means you rescue. The Prophet cared so much about people that he was sad when they refused the truth. Allah comforted him: guiding hearts belongs to Allah alone. Our job is to share kindly, set a good example and make du'a.

Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Qasas says you cannot guide whom you love, but Allah guides?

Ages 5–8: Kind example. Do one good thing where a friend can see, and talk about showing, not forcing.

Ages 9–12: My part. Write what we can do for others' guidance, and what only Allah can do.

Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Qasas ___."

• How can we share Islam kindly?
• Whom would you like to make du'a for?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a for someone to be guided."
