Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do wise people do after listening?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I know which advice is good?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zumar is surah 39. Find ayah 18. The key word ahsanahu means the finest of it. Wise people listen carefully, then choose and follow the finest words, especially the Quran. They do not just hear; they act on what is good. Allah calls them guided and people of understanding.

Fact: Which surah begins by saying the Most Merciful taught the Quran?

Ages 5–8: Pick the ripest fruit. Choose the freshest fruit from a bowl and talk about choosing the finest words to follow.

Ages 9–12: Advice filter. Write three questions to decide whether advice is worth following.

Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."

Talk together:

• Why is listening a superpower?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What advice have you followed that helped you?
• How can we choose the finest words to follow?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will follow one piece of good advice I usually ignore."
