And you will certainly learn the truth of its message after some time.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever been told something that only made sense much later?"
Watch the Little Muslim TV 365 video The Honesty of Prophet Muhammad.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When will people come to know the truth of the Quran?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will I understand better when I grow up?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 88. The key word hin means a period of time. Surah Sad ends by saying that everyone will see the truth of the Quran in time. Some saw it in their lifetime, as Makkah later opened to Islam; everyone will see it on the Last Day. We have journeyed through Dawud, Sulaiman, Ayyub and Adam, all pointing to one message: stay humble and keep turning back to Allah.
Fact: Which surah comes straight after Surah Sad in the mushaf?
Ages 5–8: Time capsule. Draw a picture of what you learned from Surah Sad and seal it in an envelope to open next year.
Ages 9–12: Surah summary. Write five sentences summing up the main lessons of Surah Sad.
Finish with: "I found that the next surah is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will practise turning back to Allah, like Dawud, Sulaiman and Ayyub."
Action: Practise turning back to Allah, like Dawud, Sulaiman and Ayyub.
