Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes someone refuse to do what they know is right?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why did Iblis refuse?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Was Iblis an angel?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 74. The key word istakbara means he became arrogant, he thought himself too great. Iblis was among the angels in worship, but he was not an angel; he was from the jinn. When the command came, his pride stopped him. One proud moment turned him into Shaytan. Pride is the very first sin mentioned in this story.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Kahf says Iblis was one of the jinn?
Ages 5–8: Bend like grass. Pretend to be a stiff tree that snaps in wind, then soft grass that bends, and talk about humility.
Ages 9–12: Pride alarm. Write three warning signs that pride is creeping into your heart.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Kahf ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'you are right' when someone corrects me fairly."
Action: Say 'you are right' when someone corrects you fairly.
