Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What happens when a whole group copies one person's bad idea?"

Watch the Adnaan Menk Talks video The Danger of Bad Friends.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the followers ask Allah to do to those who misled them?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Am I responsible if others copy me?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 61. The key word di'f means double. Leading others into wrong is very serious, because one bad example can spread to many. The opposite is also true: when someone starts a good habit and others copy it, the good keeps growing. Each of us can be a leader towards good.

Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Ahzab tells of people blaming their chiefs and great ones for misleading them?

Ages 5–8: Copy game. Play copy-me with only kind actions, and see how quickly good spreads.

Ages 9–12: Ripple effect. Draw ripples in water and write how one good habit can spread through a family.

Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Ahzab ___."

Talk together:

• Why is leading others into wrong so serious?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How can a good example spread?
• Who copies you, and what do they see?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will start one good habit that my younger family members can copy."

• Set a good example.
• Play the copy game.
• Share the ripple effect.
• Next time: the next ayah (38:62) asks where certain people went. Explore it together!

Action: Start one good habit that your younger family members can copy.
