So let them taste it: boiling water and a grim, filthy fluid.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the most refreshing drink on a hot day?"
Watch the Wee Muslim Stories video Hasan's Sincere Repentance.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How are these drinks different from the cool water Allah gave Ayyub?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the Quran compare drinks?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 57. The key word hamim means boiling water. Earlier in this surah, Allah gave patient Ayyub cool, healing water. Here, those who refused the truth get the opposite. The Quran shows the contrast so we value the path of patience and good. Every sincere repentance keeps us on the cool-water path.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Muhammad describes rivers of pure water, milk and honey in Jannah?
Ages 5–8: Cool or hot. Feel a cool cup and a warm cup of water and talk about which one Allah gave Ayyub.
Ages 9–12: Contrast chart. List three blessings of Jannah from this surah and their opposites.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Muhammad ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give someone a cool drink and remember Allah's mercy."
Action: Give someone a cool drink and remember Allah's mercy.
