وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
Wa wahab'nā lahu 'ah'lahu wamith'lahum mmaʻahum' raḥ'matan mminnā wadhik'rā li'ūlī l-'al'bābi
And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding.

We gave him back his household, and the same number again besides, as mercy from Us and a lesson for people of understanding.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would you miss most if you were away from your family?"
Watch the Little Kids of Jannah video The Story of Prophet Ayyub.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How much did Allah give back to Ayyub?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Allah give him double?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 43. The key word ahlahu means his family. After years of patience, Allah gave Ayyub back his family and doubled it. This was a mercy and a reminder for anyone who thinks: patience is never wasted. Allah repays more than we lose.
Fact: How many times is Ayyub named in the whole Quran?
Ages 5–8: Family tree. Draw your family tree and say one thank-you for each person.
Ages 9–12: Patience pays. Write about someone you know who was patient and saw good come afterwards.
Finish with: "I found that Ayyub is named ___ times."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will spend special time with a family member."
Action: Spend special time with a family member.
