Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "At which two times did the mountains praise Allah with Dawud?"

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 18. The key word al-ishraq means sunrise, when light spreads over the land. Allah gave Dawud a beautiful voice, and when he praised Allah, the mountains echoed his praise. Everything in creation glorifies Allah in its own way, even if we cannot understand how.

Ages 5–8: Echo game. Stand in a big room or outside and listen to your voice echo back.

Ages 9–12: Morning and evening. Note what you see in nature at sunrise and at sunset this week.
