وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍۢ
Wa mā yanẓuru hā'ulā'i 'illā ṣay'ḥatan wāḥidatan mmā lahā min fawāqin
These (today) only wait for a single mighty Blast, which (when it comes) will brook no delay.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How long will the blast be delayed?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will happen when the blast comes?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Sad is surah 38. Find ayah 15. The key word fawaq means a tiny pause, like the short break between milking a camel. When the time Allah has set arrives, there will be no waiting at all. One mighty sound will begin the events of the Last Day. We do not need to be afraid if we prepare with good deeds now.
Fact: Which ayah in the next surah, Az-Zumar, describes the trumpet blown twice?
Ages 5–8: Ready bag. Pack a pretend bag with good deeds written on paper, ready for any time.
Ages 9–12: No delay. Write about something that cannot be paused or rewound, like time itself.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Az-Zumar ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will start each day with one good deed so I am always ready."
Action: Start each day with one good deed so you are always ready.
