Opening the ayah…
فَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًۭا فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ
Fa'arādū bihī kay'dan fajaʻalnāhumu l-'as'falīna
(This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated!

4-I guide
They wanted to trap him with a plot, but We made them the losers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can anyone's plan beat Allah's plan?"
Watch the Tiny Sparks Stories video Al-Qawee, the All-Strong.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happened to their plot?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did their plan fail?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 98. The key word kaydan means a plot or trick. The whole town plotted against one man, but Allah, Al-Qawiyy, the All-Strong, protected him. Their plan ended in failure and shame. When we are on Allah's side, no plot can truly defeat us.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Anfal says they plan, and Allah plans, and Allah is the finest of planners?
Ages 5–8: Strong tower. Build a block tower and talk about Allah being stronger than anything.
Ages 9–12: Plans and Allah's plan. Write about a time things worked out differently than you planned, but well.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Anfal ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember that Allah's plan is greater whenever I make my own plans."
Action: Remember that Allah's plan is greater whenever you make your own plans.
