4-I guide
Pushed back, and theirs is an unending punishment.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you do when a bad thought comes into your mind?"
Watch the Faith and Light kids video Powerful Dua for Protection from Shaytan.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What happens to the devils who try to listen?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I push away bad whispers?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 9. The key word duhur means being driven back. Rebellious devils are pushed away from the sky. In the same way, when we remember Allah, bad whispers are pushed away from our hearts. Shaytan has no power over someone who turns to Allah sincerely.
Fact: What do we say before reciting the Quran to seek protection from Shaytan, and in which surah is it commanded?
Ages 5–8: Push it away. Write a bad habit on a balloon and bat it away while saying you choose good.
Ages 9–12: Protection plan. Write a daily plan of three ways to keep your heart protected.
Finish with: "I found that it is commanded in Surah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will remember Allah as soon as I notice a bad thought."
Action: Remember Allah as soon as you notice a bad thought.
