And We rescued him and his household from the terrible calamity.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would you take with you if you had to leave home quickly?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "From what did Allah save Nuh?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did the ark survive the flood?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 76. The key word al-karb al-'azim means the great distress. Allah told Nuh to build an ark, and when the flood came, Nuh and the believers were safe inside. Building the ark took patience while people mocked him. Trusting Allah's instructions brought safety.
Fact: According to Surah Hud, on which mountain did the ark come to rest?
Ages 5–8: Float test. Make a small boat from foil and see how many coins it can carry before sinking.
Ages 9–12: Ark plan. Find out what shape helps a boat float and draw a simple design.
Finish with: "I found that the mountain is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep doing something good even if others laugh."
Action: Keep doing something good even if others laugh.
