Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can Allah make a tree grow in fire?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 64. The key word asl means root or base. Allah, Al-Khaliq, creates whatever He wills. Even on earth, some living things survive in boiling hot springs and deep-sea volcanoes. If Allah made those, He can make anything. This tree is a short, serious warning; Allah's mercy is our shelter from it.

Ages 5–8: Extreme life. Look at pictures of animals that live in very hot or cold places.

Ages 9–12: Survival science. Write about one living thing that survives near deep-sea volcanoes.
