Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 59. The key word al-ula means the first. Everyone tastes death once, as a door from this life to the next. For the people of Jannah there is no second death and no punishment ever. Allah, Al-Qayyum, the Self-Sustaining, keeps everything going and keeps them safe forever.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Ali 'Imran says every soul will taste death?
Ages 5–8: Door picture. Draw a door between this life and the next and write "Jannah" on the far side.
