The leaders will answer: rather, you simply were not believers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can someone else make you believe or disbelieve?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How do the leaders answer?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who is responsible for my choices?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 29. The key word mu'minin means believers. The leaders throw the blame back: you chose this yourselves. Both sides blame each other, but Allah, Ash-Shahid, witnessed everything. In the end each person answers for their own choices.

Ages 5–8: My choice. Hold up a red and green card and choose green for each good action called out.
Ages 9–12: Choice diary. Note two choices you made today and who was responsible for each one.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-An'am ___."

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'that was my choice' instead of blaming others."
Action: Say 'that was your choice' instead of blaming others.
