Or did We make the angels female while they stood watching?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can you describe something you have never seen?"
Watch the Brother Seium video Angels in Islam Explained in 6 Minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does Allah ask about the angels?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What do we really know about angels?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 150. The key word shahidun means witnesses. The pagans made claims about the angels without ever seeing their creation. Allah asks: were you there? We only know about the unseen what Allah tells us. Angels are honoured servants of Allah; they are not male or female like people.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Anbiya calls the angels honoured servants?
Ages 5–8: Seen or told. Sort things into "I have seen this" and "Allah told us about this".
Ages 9–12: Evidence check. Write why we should not make claims without knowledge.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Anbiya ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'I don't know' when I am not sure, instead of guessing."
Action: Say 'you don't know' when you are not sure, instead of guessing.
