فَـَٔامَنُوا۟ فَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ
How to read it
Fa'āmanū famattaʻ'nāhum' 'ilā ḥīnin
And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while.

Then they believed, so We gave them enjoyment of life for a time.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would it feel like if everyone in your town turned to Allah?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How did Yunus's people respond this time?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did they believe this time?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 148. The key word amanu means they believed. The whole city believed, and Allah let them live in peace. Surah Yunus says they were a special people who believed in time and were spared. Yunus's patient return brought a wonderful result.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Yunus mentions the people of Yunus believing and being spared?
Ages 5–8: Happy ending. Draw a happy city full of people praying together.
Ages 9–12: Never lose hope. Write why Yunus's story teaches us never to lose hope in people changing.
