أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍۢ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
'Awalam' yara l-'insānu 'annā khalaq'nāhu min nnuṭ'fatin fa'idhā huwa khaṣīmun mmubīnun
Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary!

People were made from a tiny drop, yet some stand up to argue openly against their Creator.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How small were you when your life began?"
Watch the BBC video Face Development in the Womb.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do some people do after growing up?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did I grow from something so tiny?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 77. The key word nutfah means a small drop. Every person began smaller than a grain of sand, then grew in their mother's womb, safely held by Allah. It is a sign to ponder: from so small a start, Allah builds eyes, a heart and a mind. Yet some people use that mind to argue against Him.
Fact: About how many months does a baby grow inside the mother before birth?
Ages 5–8: Then and now. Compare a baby photo of yourself with a photo from today.
Ages 9–12: Growth chart. Make a chart of your height from your records, year by year.
Finish with: "I found that a baby grows for about ___ months."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank my mother for carrying me and thank Allah for making me."
Action: Thank your mother for carrying you and thank Allah for making you.
