أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَٰمًۭا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَ
'Awalam' yaraw' 'annā khalaq'nā lahum mmimmā ʻamilat' 'ay'dīnā 'an'ʻāman fahum' lahā mālikūna
See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?-

Allah made livestock for people with His own power, and placed them in people's care.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which farm animal is your favourite?"
Watch the Deen Kids TV song Old Ibrahim Had a Farm. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah make for people?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do animals help people?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 71. The key word an'am means livestock: camels, cattle, sheep and goats. Allah created them and placed them in people's hands. Owning animals is a trust: they need food, water, shelter and kindness.
Fact: How much water can a thirsty cow drink in one day?
Ages 5–8: Animal care chart. Draw what a sheep needs to be healthy and happy.
Ages 9–12: Farm trust. Write a short guide for looking after a goat kindly.
Finish with: "I found that a cow can drink about ___ litres a day."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be gentle with every animal I meet."
Action: Be gentle with every animal you meet.
