They are greeted with peace, a word from their Lord, the Most Merciful.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does it feel when someone greets you warmly?"
Watch the Zain Bhikha Kids video Salaamun Salaam (voice only).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What word do they hear?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will it feel like to be greeted by Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 58. The key word salam means peace. The highest gift in the Garden is a greeting of peace from Allah Himself, the Rabb Rahim, Lord Most Merciful. As-Salam, the Source of Peace, is one of His names too. Each greeting of salam we give spreads a little of that peace today.
Fact: Which short surah describes a whole night as peace until dawn?
