مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
Mā yanẓurūna 'illā ṣay'ḥatan wāḥidatan ta''khudhuhum' wahum' yakhiṣṣimūna
They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves!

Only one Blast awaits them, and it will come while they are busy arguing.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you miss when you are busy arguing?"
Watch the Zikrullah TV recitation of Surah Yaseen. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will they be doing when it comes?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is arguing such a waste of time?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 49. The key word yakhissimun means arguing with each other. The Last Day will come suddenly, while people are busy with quarrels and buying and selling. That is a gentle push to not waste our days in pointless arguments.
Fact: What is the Arabic word for the Last Hour, used often in the Quran?
Ages 5–8: Stop and switch. Play a game where you must switch from arguing faces to smiling faces when a bell rings.
Ages 9–12: Calm the quarrel. Write three steps to end an argument peacefully.
Finish with: "I found that the word is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will end any argument within five minutes by saying sorry or walking away calmly."
Action: End arguments quickly.
